(The Agricultural Adaptation Council (AAC) has issued a Call for Proposals (CFP)
to solicit project proposals for funding consideration from residual Canadian
Adaptation and Rural Development (CARD) funds. These funds were previously
administered under the AAC’s CanAdapt program. Due to some projects
under-spending and successful loan repayment on others, there is currently over
$7 million dollars remaining for allocation to projects meeting CARD funding
criteria.The AAC Board of Directors approved issuing a CFP to solicit project
proposals for grant funding consideration in the following areas:
a. Communications and Outreach
b. Capturing Market Opportunities
c. Human Resource Capacity Building
d. Small Projects

All proposals must be submitted to the AAC prior to Friday, February 2,
2007 at 5:00 p.m.
