Call For Proposals - Agricultural Management Institute
Through the Renewal chapter established under the Agricultural Policy
Framework (APF), the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural
Affairs (OMAFRA) and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) have agreed
to jointly fund the Agricultural Management Institute (AMI).
The AMI will provide funding for projects to develop business management
tools, products, information, resources and training for farm families,
farm managers and farm business advisors.
Funding for the AMI program will be administered through the
Agricultural Adaptation Council (AAC). The AAC is a non-profit grass
roots coalition of 71 agricultural, agribusiness and rural organizations
dedicated to providing financial resources to assist Ontario’s
agriculture and agri-food industry remain profitable, grow and maintain
its economic strength.
Projects will be reviewed by a 12 member AMI Advisory Panel.
The AAC has issued this Call for Proposals (CFP) to solicit project
proposals for funding consideration under the AMI Program. Please click

Proposal Submission:
The applicant must submit their proposal using the application form and
budget tables found in Appendix A. One (1) signed original copy of your
application should be delivered in a sealed package no later than 4:30
p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2008. An electronic copy in Word (Application)
and Excel (Milestone and budget) format should also be forwarded to ami@adaptcouncil.org.
Please do not send PFD versions. To be considered a valid proposal, the
documents must be completed and signed by an authorized official of the
organization submitting the proposal. Please address the package to:

Any proposal that is received by the Agricultural Adaptation Council
after the closing date and time may not be considered for funding It is
the applicant’s responsibility to deliver their proposal to the
